Goals, Partners, and Mission of the Huron County EMA
It is the goal of the Huron County Emergency Management Agency to effectively plan, mitigate, and prepare Huron County and its population from the effects of disasters while preserving life and property. This is accomplished through preparedness, planning, training, mitigation, response and recovery operations.
The Huron County EMA works closely with Huron County's first responders, Federal and State agencies, other County agencies, and local cities and villages to establish a unified response to natural and man-made incidents.
The mission of the Huron County EMA is to protect the lives and property of residents and business' in Huron County. The two primary means of accomplishing this goal are educating the public and assisting Huron County's first response agencies.
